COMPLIANCE & CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Leatherex Footwear Industries Ltd. has been upgraded to facilitate compliance. The company has undertaken a program with a German consulting firm named CSI to implement a project for compliance & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as per the Compliance Manual of the European Union, under REACH regulation.
As a member of our society, we strive to improve Bangladesh’s social and economic development by providing skilled employment opportunities and producing high-quality goods for export. An important goal of this project is the development and establishment of a modernized management system. This process will consider the areas of social compliance, environmental protection, production and quality management. Based on the principles of accountability, ethical business conduct, and an understanding of CSR, the new management system will include mechanisms and procedures that aim to ensure full legal compliance which will create a better work environment, decrease the consumption of resources, and increase production efficiency.
